TERMS OF SHIPMENT

Remaining strictly a Shippers Own Container (SOC) Common Feeder, terms are Free-In-Out (FIO) which clearly defines the contractual status between carriers/NVOCCs and BTL as a Feeder.

All clients are box operators having their own agents at either end of the logistics chain who deliver/receive their container shipments via the local terminals. Accordingly BTL issues only non negotiable Service Bills of Lading and thus retains its neutrality in the market.

A simple Connecting Carrier Agreement (CCA) outlines the basic contractual terms with clients and ensures suitable P&I coverage is in place - our aim is to keep business administration to a minimum.
