BTL Shanghai recently moved into new premises on June 6th 2010. The new office being located in the Sinotrans building 12th floor in the centre of Shanghai City, nearby to People's Square, surrounded by many of the big shipping lines. The office has been decorated in BTL's global standard style and looked even more beautiful when decorated by the kind congratulatory flowers from customers, partners and BTL friends!
On Tuesday 8th June a small inauguration ceremony was held on site with VIP guests from many of our clients attending - including amongst others HMM/MSK/SAF/APL/EMC/TSL/YML/KMTC & AAL. From within the BTL family, as well as our Chairman, we had Tabitha Fong and Gerrit Kristen from Singapore and James Liu from Go-Tiger Taiwan. Joachim von der Heydt personally opened the champagne for the guests and then toasted to the success of the China Team within his speech. Our guests were fortunately full of compliments - being deeply impressed by the new office.
The official establishment of BTL Shanghai's new office has sent a strong signal to our customers and the market that "the Tiger" is prowling further into China and that our goal remains to develop this exciting market.
